Helping staff meet personal goals, too.

Our staff works hard, but we still find time to dedicate ourselves to our personal goals. In the past few months, we’ve cheered on our colleagues in a variety of activities.

Boston Marathon: Running for Jackson, Boston, MA

After completing his second Boston Marathon in April, Brandon is training to run the NY Marathon this November. Brandon runs to raise money for his buddy, 7-year old Jackson, who has undergone 20+ surgeries at Children’s Hospital and whose strength, energy, and cheerful attitude is an inspiration to all. With the help of friends, family, and coworkers at Health Advances, Brandon has been able to raise over $23,000 for the hospital.

Company-Sponsored Race Teams

Health Advances employees participate in several runs throughout the year. The company sponsors teams for the Corporate Challenge and the Ragnar Relay on Massachusetts’ Cape Cod, among others. The 2014 Ragner team, “Run Happy”, finished 4th in the Regular Mixed Corporate category and 136th overall out of 500 teams and completed a total of 192 miles!

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Outside work, Tracy visits people both young and old with her dog Martha, a registered therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International. Tracy and Martha volunteer at several local organizations where they elevate patients’ moods with four-legged affection, comfort, and companionship.

Basketball Team

The Health Advances basketball team enjoyed the opportunity to have some fun with coworkers and dust off some of their high school basketball skills in a casual but competitive league. The summer interns even got into the act for the championship game, helping the team finish the season in second place!
