Patrick Symmonds, PharmD

Patrick joined Health Advances in 2014 and is a leader within the biopharma practice. He has broad therapeutic area expertise including ophthalmology, neurology & psychiatry, and cardiometabolic diseases, as well as expertise in drug formulation and delivery devices.

He has partnered with clients on a diverse set of commercialization needs including new product planning, portfolio and pipeline strategy, indication prioritization, market and opportunity assessment, corporate strategy, business development, and commercial due diligence. Through this work, Patrick has successfully guided teams on product forecasting, competitive landscaping, qualitative and quantitative primary market research methodologies, and the utilization of industry databases and information resources to generate actionable market insights for clients.

Prior to joining Health Advances, Patrick practiced as a community pharmacist with CVS where he worked directly with patients, healthcare providers, and payers. Patrick received a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and a BS of Business Administration from Ohio Northern University and a Master of Translational Medicine joint university degree from UC Berkeley and UCSF.
